Hills Pils
An ordinary pilsner, just done properly
A pale, classic beer with no fireworks - the one you reach for when you simply want a good beer. Polish Lublin hops give a gentle floral-herbal aroma and the finish is dry, so the second bottle tastes as good as the first. Pilsner is a style where nothing can hide behind additions - which is why we watch it most closely.

More about Hills Pils
A pilsner looks like the simplest beer in the world, and that is exactly what makes it the hardest. There are no roasted malts or tonnes of hops to hide a mistake behind - everything shows at once. Ours is pale, unfiltered, brewed on bottom-fermenting yeast and lagered for as long as it takes. Plus Polish Lubelski hops, dosed with restraint so they give aroma without dominating the beer.
This is a beer for the barbecue, the allotment and an ordinary weeknight. Serve it chilled to 6-8°C, ideally in a tall glass - the head is dense and worth keeping. With food, keep it simple: sausage, pierogi, roast chicken, fries, young cheeses.
Taste
Floral-herbal hops on the nose, a clean grainy background, light bitterness and a dry finish.
Ingredients
Pilsner malt, Polish noble hops (Lubelski), bottom-fermenting yeast.
What to pair it with
Best with simple food: grilled sausage, pierogi, roast chicken, fries. It also works as an end-of-day beer, when you do not want to think about anything.
